Naval Aviation Simulation and Modeling Workshop

This presentation describes how the Naval Aviation Simulation Model (NASMOD) is used to examine and forecast military and joint-use airfield, airspace and range capacity; operations flow; asset utilization efficiency; and air traffic interaction. The presentation will give a brief overview of NASMOD and describe its capabilities for quantifying the effects of military-civil interaction and conducting alternatives analysis to mitigate impacts on mission accomplishment. The application of will be illustrated by a recent case study.
