The 2009 Sustaining Military Readiness Conference is being held at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel. Registrants are encouraged to reserve rooms early to ensure their availability. Please make your hotel reservations as soon as possible in order to receive the secured conference rate of $96 plus tax per room per night. The rate is only based on hotel availability.

By Phone: Please call Phoenix Sheraton Downtown Hotel at 1-800-325-3535 (Toll free number) or (602)262-2500 and ask for reservations with the 2009 Sustaining Military Readiness group.
Check-in begins at 3pm and you must check-out by 12pm. If you are departing later in the day, the hotel will hold your luggage at the front desk.

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION
Airport Information: Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (Code: PHX) is the closest airport to the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel (approximately 6.5 miles/ 11 minute drive).
Airline: A 5% discount off the lowest applicable fare is available through American Airlines, American Eagle, or AmericanConnections. This fare is not valid for use in conjunction with any other discounted type fare. To receive this discount, make your reservation online at www.aa.com and enter “A3689AI” in the promotion code box. The travel dates available for this discount are from August 6, 2009 through August 17, 2009. Click HERE for more information.
NOTE: The discount is also available on reservations made by calling AA reservations at 1-800-433-1790 and referencing this code, however, there is a $20 reservations service fee for tickets issued by phone. There is a $30 ticketing fee for tickets issued at the airport.
Light Rail: Take the free PHX Airport Shuttle to or from the 44th Street and Washington METRO light rail stop. The shuttle picks up and drops off passengers in all PHX terminals. Purchase and activate a 1-ride pass for $1.25 when you arrive at the light rail stop. Trains arrive every 10-15 minutes during peak periods and 20-30 minutes during off-peak periods. Take the light rail going west towards Phoenix Spectrum Mall. Get off at the 4th station, 3rd Street / Washington. Walk up 2nd Street 3 blocks, then right on E. Van Buren 1 block and left on 3rd Street. The hotel will be immediately on your left. Super Shuttle: A Super Shuttle ride from the airport is $13 per person. You may make reservations online at http://www.supershuttle.com/ or by calling (800)258-3826.
Taxi: A taxi ride from the airport to the hotel is approximately $17. You may choose any taxi from the waiting line. The three following taxi services are contracted by the airport and offer the same rates. These rates apply regardless of the number of people in the party and the amount of luggage. Parking: The Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel offers both self-park and valet parking in an underground parking garage. The fee is $16/night for self-park and $23/night for valet parking.
