The 2011 Sustaining Military Readiness Conference is being held at the Nashville Convention Center and the adjacent Renaissance Nashville Hotel in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. Registrants are encouraged to reserve rooms early to ensure their availability. When reserving rooms with the DoD Sustaining Military Readiness Conference via the below methods, you should receive the government per diem rate, $110 plus tax per room, per night. If you are a federal government employee on official travel orders, you are exempt from paying tax. To receive your exemption, please provide your government or military ID and travel orders during check out. Transportation Information
In addition to securing the per diem hotel rates, an airfare discount is also available to attendees traveling on American Airlines. Attendees traveling on American Airlines and American Eagle flights to BNA Nashville, TN between July 21 - August 1 will receive a 5% discount by entering promotional code 9271BV during check out at www.AA.com.
Note: Government fares are not eligible for this additional discount. Itineraries involving any oneworld or codeshare partner airline can be booked via the phone through American Airlines Meeting Services Department at 800-433-1790 for passengers calling from the US and Canada, or via your local AA reservations number for international attendees with your Promotion code. A $25 ticketing service fee will apply for reservations made via the phone or $30 for purchasing in person at an AA counter. Passengers are responsible for all applicable baggage fees at time of travel.

Driving Directions From Nashville International Airport: Take I-40 West to Exit 209A Broadway, turn right on Broadway to 7th Ave., turn left on 7th Ave., go 1 block to Commerce St. Hotel on corner of 7th Ave. and Commerce. Shuttle: The hotel does not provide shuttle service. Gray Line Downtown Airport Express can be scheduled for a fee of $12 one way.
Taxi: A taxi ride from the airport to the hotel is approximately $24 one way.
